Alby and his mentally challenged sister, Alice, adore each other. But when two strangers, Sophia and Victor, enter their lives forming strong bonds with them, it leads to tension between the siblings.

The main character is a modern girl named Rise. One day, she wanders into Wonderland, and when she meets Alice, the story begins to unfold.

Co-written by director Gabriel Novis and its titular protagonist, this stunning sun-soaked film takes us on a journey from darkness to light. Inspired to surf by the memory of her father, whom she lost to suicide, Alice finds her love for the sport tainted by the toxic, transphobic responses to her presence by other surfers. Despite this conservative environment, and the well-documented discrimination and violence against the trans community in Brazil, we see Alice journeying towards her full self - living joyfully and surrounded by trans-affirming friendships.
